Guiding Star

Unsolicited concept and model for a sun/shadow sculpture at Baptist Medical Center downtown campus new entrance and Wolfson neonatal care tower, Jacksonville, Florida.  Design intended to be low key and continuously changing throughout the day, night, weather and seasons when viewed from above by parents and family of infants undergoing treatment during an average month-long stay.

Concept further developed by the Baptist Medical Center Art Advisory Committee. Construction complete.  Concrete walls and plantings, 60 feet by 80 feet, sloping walls 5 feet high center.
